Hubby saved Mother's Day

Mother's Day started out perfect. I got to sleep in. I received a beautiful, new willow tree (Beautiful Wishes) from the family. My husband made waffles from scratch and boy were there yum-meeeee!

For most of the morning, hubby tried to work on my camera and the removal of some pictures from a recent photo shoot that I did. For some odd reason, my pictures would not come off of my card. I plugged it in and it just wouldn't read. He was downstairs for a few hours and came upstairs to tell me that he had a solution, however, if it didn't work, the pictures would be lost.

He tried this on another card and he was able to retrieve 500 pictures off a card that was completely empty. Amazing, huh?! So, I gave him the okay to do this to my card with the recent shoot on it. My fingers were crossed and in a matter of seconds, the pictures were deleted and gone. Ugh... utter disappointment. My day turned to crap in just a matter of seconds. Happy Mother's Day, right?

I called my friend, told her the news and in that moment, her day turned to crap, too!

So, that afternoon, I slumped on the couch, watched some shows on my DVR and just sulked. :(

I decided I needed to get out of the house before I had to work. C and I headed to Walmart and Target on a mission to find her a new pair of shoes. While out, I get a call from hubby with wonderful, wonderful news! He was able to get the all 156 pictures off of the deleted card!!!

He saved Mother's Day!!!

How will I ever repay him?
