Here I sit, enjoying another beautiful Florida day when I get news that there was a burglary in the neighborhood. Not just any house in the neighborhood but a house very close to my own. How horrifying to hear! The woman that lived there is on vacation and some fool(s) had to come and do this. Ugh. I'm so very bothered to hear this. Especially since I live next door to a police officer. You think that his car alone would scare people off, but not this time. Apparently, they got away with some big items, too. Time to start setting that alarm more frequently. I don't want to take any chances.
I hope despite this news that she is still able to enjoy her vacation.
