Often, I thought what distinguishes a true friend from an everyday friend. The obvious is there. A true friend is one that sticks by your side and is there for you when you need them. I believe I have a handful of true friends - friends that I know like me for me. Others, I feel are too busy for a committed friendship, which is hard to swallow, but I know that I sometimes can fall into that category. There are not enough hours in the day or a week or even a month to get to see every single person you want to see. Life... it, honestly, gets in the way. Things in your everyday life take priority sometimes. Sometimes, making a phone call to correct a bill or schedule an appointment are the only calls that you can manage to squeeze into your day.
I feel that I have let friends drift because I wasn't able to make them a priority. My intentions are good, but as the saying goes, actions speak louder than words. I'm sure other people feel the same way -- at least I hope they do. I hope that I'm not the only person.

When we were getting ready to leave, all we could do was laugh because one child was crying, another was whining, one of mine was m.i.a., etc. haha. Good times!
I can say that now as I sip my Gallo Family Mini Moscato! Mmmmm! Can we say serenity?! :)
Thank you for a wonderful evening and I sure hope that little Miss T had an awesome fourth birthday with her friends!
